Unit 2: Prehistoric PeoplesCovering the Paleolithic and the Neolithic Ages, this unit will focus on the lifestyles and developments of the earliest humans - from 1,000,000 BCE to about 3000 BCE. We'll talk about human migration across the Earth, the various Stone Ages, and the making of tools, fire, shelters, clothing, and language. In the Neolithic Age, we'll focus on the beginning of agriculture and domestication of animals, the settling of people in villages and eventually cities, and the resultant specialization of occupations and the development of government, and religion.
